Project Overview
The transformation of a historic building in central Brussels into an elegant 50-room boutique hotel. This project design and restoration required a careful balance of preserving the building’s historic charm while integrating modern luxury and functionality.
Scope of Work
Our team managed the procurement and supply of materials and custom loose and fixed furniture required for the project. This included the bedrooms, corridors and public areas (capturing the restaurant too). We ensured a quality, consistency, and timely delivery. Items provided include:
- Bathroom Tiles and LVT Flooring – High-quality materials to complement the building’s classic aesthetic.
- Wall Mouldings – Elegant decorative elements that enhanced the building’s historic character.
- Lighting Fixtures – Custom and standard fixtures to create the perfect ambiance; from feature chandeliers to practical headboard reading lights..
- Decorations & Artwork – Carefully selected pieces to give the hotel a unique identity.
Custom Furniture: The Heart of the Project
The centerpiece of this project was the creation of bespoke furniture designed exclusively for the hotel. We took the client’s vision and turned it into reality by manufacturing fully customized pieces, including:
- Beds & Bedside Tables – Crafted to blend comfort with style.
- Wardrobes & Storage Solutions – Designed for both elegance and practicality.
- Seating & Lounge Furniture – Unique designs that add character to every room.
Challenges & Solutions
- Historic Building Constraints – We worked closely with designers to ensure that all furniture and materials complemented the building’s original architecture while meeting modern hospitality standards.
- Customization & Manufacturing – Every piece of furniture was tailor-made to meet the hotel’s aesthetic and functional needs, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Timely Delivery – With a tight project timeline, we leveraged our strong supplier relationships to ensure all materials and custom pieces were delivered on schedule.
Project Outcome
The result was a stunning boutique hotel and restaurant that seamlessly blends historic charm with contemporary elegance. The fully bespoke furniture and carefully curated materials elevated the hotel’s aesthetic, creating an inviting and luxurious atmosphere for guests.
